SEAONC Structural Engineering Excellence (SEE) Awards

About the SEE Awards

The Structural Engineering Excellence (SEE) Awards Program is an annual event that celebrates the significant structural engineering achievements of SEAONC's members. The local and state awards ceremonies are key opportunities for SEAONC and SEAOC to recognize the successful work of its members.

California-based design teams are encouraged to submit eligible projects to the Annual SEE Awards Program for consideration. Entrants submit projects through SEAONC, SEAOSC, SEAOCC, or SEAOSD, as appropriate per their regional MO affiliation. MO Awards are recognized during the annual MO Awards ceremony. Projects receiving an Award of Excellence at their MO ceremony are automatically entered into the SEAOC SEE Awards program and recognized at a ceremony during the annual SEAOC Convention.

How Entries are Evaluated

Entrants typically submit entry forms including a project abstract, completed survey questions, and engineer-of-record approval, along with a presentation board, high resolution project images, and an entry fee. Specific submission requirements, fees, and deadlines are announced each year when the Call for Entries opens.
